Ross and Reno

I have learned that as a photographer, when you photograph the same place over and over, you get images no one else does. I got to know the locals who hung out, from the surfers, the fishermen, the loners like me, to the families who came to start their mornings with a view of the seashore. Since I did this virtually every school day before I arrived to teach high school, I was pretty well known. So starting my day with fellow ocean lovers was a solace for me and got me in the perfect frame of mind to start my teaching at San Dieguito Academy High School in Encinitas.
