Created as a challenge to develop 3D lighted sculpture, the four orbs represent fantasy sea urchin skeletons, in four different sizes and colors. Three of the orbs can be lighted for an interesting night light effect. Silk and wool fibers were wet felted and formed into orbs and sculpted to resemble sea urchins. Mounted on puck lights on a base, the orbs and placed in a flowing wet felted foaming ocean wave.
