Jennifer Luce is a born and raised San Diego artist. She went to Stanford University where she studied studio art/art history and went onto UCLA as a graduate student in art education. She taught art in Del Mar Union School District and private schools for over 25 years. She has shown her own work across the country and has many pieces in private collections along the west coast. She currently is focusing on drawing, paintings and college in her San Diego North County studio.
StatementExploring art elements on different surfaces, I created these two works on record albums abstracting the ocean currents, water, sea life and colors. With texture and color the works give a sense of constant movement like the tides, currents and waves.
