Jayshree Zaveri is a native of India who lived in Maryland for over 45 years before recently moving to the San Diego area. Especially over the last 20 years, her drawing and painting skills have flourished. Jayshree has learned from experts in the Washington, DC area, such as The Art League in Alexandria, VA. She has also actively participated in several artistic community groups, where she has been asked to lead arts and crafts projects. Additionally, Jayshree has been selected to exhibit her work in numerous public forums like Brookside Gardens in Maryland and has sold several of her prized pieces. While her expertise is primarily in watercolor and Chinese ink paintings, she is also skilled in pencil sketching, acrylic painting, and miniatures. Her focus is on natural beauty and landscapes, though she is also skilled in portraits and architectural subjects. Throughout her life, Jayshree has continued to enjoy various creative outlets including cooking, sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, collages, and paper crafts.
